An eco friendly & non toxic cloth that keep food fresh and dry for hours.
It is estimated that the average child would use about 105 metres of plastic wrap a year. PVC plastic wrap and other plastic containers also contain traces of toxic chemicals.
To reduce waste and the amount of toxins that get into the environment 4MyEarth sell reusable products. They have several different products including sandwich wraps, sandwich pockets, snack pockets, snack wraps, lunch bags and lunch sacks.
The wraps easily fit a normal sized sandwich and you simply fold in the sides and then the bottom and seal the top with the Velcro. This is easy to open for little fingers, there is no need to mess around with fiddly plastic wrap. When opened up the wrap becomes a clean placemat to eat food from.
The sandwich wrap is lightweight yet extremely strong so is able to be used again and again. It can be wiped clean or washed by hand or machine in cold water.
An additional benefit is that the sandwich wrap keeps sandwiches fresh, but much drier than plastic wrap, because it is breathable. The wraps are also good for protecting fruit from getting battered and bruised in lunchboxes and bags.
4MyEarth® wraps and pockets are made from polyester manufactured under strict conditions to ensure that there are no harmful substances present while been manufactured. The polyester coating is free of PVC, vinyl, PUL, phthalate and preservatives 320 & 321 (found on commonly-used plastic wrap) and conforms to FDA standards. The coating is heavy metal free and naturally decomposes without harm to the environment, unlike PUL which is not biodegradable. The 4Myearth textiles passed tests conducted by SGS which screen for harmful substances based on the stringent, internationally recognised Oeko-Tex 100 standards.
