Hot water cylinder wraps
If your hot water cylinder is not an A-grade cylinder (check if there is an 'A' sticker on the side of the cylinder) you will save on your electricity bill by installing extra insulation around the cylinder – a hot water cylinder wrap. The older the cylinder, the more you will benefit, as insulation standards have increased over the years.
A cylinder wrap costs less than $100 and saves up to $65 a year. It is easy to install yourself.
